Brother Bobbins for Sewing Machines

The following are all genuine Brother brand bobbins designed for different models of Brother sewing machines.

You may also find that some of these are compatible with other brands of sewing machine, but if in doubt, check with us before purchasing. Each machine is designed to take a particular size and shape of bobbin, they are not all interchangeable. Selecting the incorrect bobbin can damage your sewing machine.

TYPES OF BROTHER BOBBINS:

Plastic Bobbins (Shuttlehook Type, 11.5mm height): 1.15cm height x 2cm diameter. Standard bobbins for most modern Brother domestic sewing machines. These fit all 7mm current models of Brother machine, eg: LS series, JS series, GS series, NS series, NX series, XL series, PS series, Star series, F series, Innov-is series, NV series, VE series and more. Also suitable for some models of Janome, Singer, Elna and IKEA machines.

Metal Bobbin (for PQ series): Metal bobbin suitable for PQ series of Brother machines, eg. PQ1500 and PQ1500SL.

Plastic Bobbin (Top Loading,  9.2mm height): Suitable for some older Brother sewing machines with 5mm feed.
