The Scream by Edvard Munch, Advanced Bookmark Cross Stitch Kit

Recreate the iconic “The Scream” in cross stitch as a bookmark!

Edvard Munch created The Scream in 1893. It is based on Munch’s real-life experience of hearing a scream echo through nature during a walk, after his two companions, seen in the background, had walked ahead.

This kit contains everything you need to create the bookmark. It includes Mouliné Spécial threads on an organiser, 14-count Aida fabric, backing card, a needle and easy-to-follow instructions.

Edvard Munch was a Norwegian painter and printer best known for his emotionally intense and psychological imagery. He was involved in the Symbolist movement in the 1890s and a pioneer of Expressionist art from the beginning of the 1900s onward.

Strawberry Thief by William Morris, V&A Advanced Cross Stitch Kit

Recreate William Morris’ Strawberry Thief with this complete cross stitch kit which has been developed in collaboration with the V&A.

This is one of Morris’ best known designs and was inspired by the thrushes which often stole the strawberries in the kitchen garden of his countryside home, Kelmscott Manor, located in Oxfordshire. It looks fabulous when stitched in the high lustre Mouliné Spécial threads that are included in the kit. This design was intended to be used for curtains or draped around walls, or for loose covers on furniture.
